 ”Me in the dark” – Guitar Melodic Rhythm Recording Session –

15th September,2007 – 2nd Recording Session Day

Yesterday P’Koon and me went to the studio again.Between 11.00am until midnight I only finished 2 tracks for 2 songs which are “We hope the sea will keep you warm” and “Our first day will come again”.Actually, we started to record “Mr.Passerby” too but my left index finger was really hurt so I just stop,let’s call it’s a day. I promised Krachai and Prin,the producers to be back again this Tuesday(without P’Koon).

Difficult part of studio recording is to play “sound” in the right way!… Usually I am not that kind of person but I understand how the producer needs so wish me luck.:)

Typhoon band 1st Recording Session at the Studio!!! September 8,2007

Yesterday P’Koon and me went to the studio: Death of Saleman’s new company. The studio is so cool and the producer – sound engineer – editor – recording engineer, all in one (Krachai and Prin with thier nice 2 friends) are so friendly so I felt like home Not so much pressure as I first thought. We arrived their around 10.15 am.

First, Krachai and Prin, and Golf (The drummer) tried so hard just to find the right position for me to play rhythm acoustic guitar.  Then I recorded 1 line of guitar for “Bad Bangkok Blues”. Wow, a dream? — time flied… took about 4-5 hours for it!

Second, they recorded P’Koon for his vocal and me for background vocal just for finding the right set up for the next recording sessions! Could be 2 hours I think. So tired but very happy with it.

Last, P’Koon treated me and the studio crews for boiled rice at Hotel “REX” before went back home… It’s around midnight already!

i love my latest version of me in the dark. quite pain history of this song because of the “chords” progression of the song is so painful to play with my very hard string- guitar T_T. anyway, it’s done (from my view!) yes i think this is the best version i can do. so go with it…

เด็กน้อย is my lyrics from this song. the story behind it is i wrote the song in full scale (with lyric and chord) before i sent it to p’koon. so do u wanna know the words? haha ok.. let’s me show u…

mr.new (sedtha) has joined the band for helping paradorn in musical terms and as a electric “Roland” drummer.  now i’ve decided to try to record all “can jack-into my line-in hole of my sound blaster live! card” instruments by myself without going to “studio”.

i hope i can do it.  today i will go to music store to buy new guitar string and start to fix my equipment to make sure it can ROCK!

today i sent “me in the dark” 1st version to p’koon i’ve done last night. i like this melody and my quite-slide part… i’ll make 2nd version with some additional part of the song and instrument. we’ll see.

actually i love both songs so much, i at first thought that cuba, bollywood is a political song but after i’ve done the music part, i found that this is a cool love song! also welcome home  is such a feel-sad tempo and melody but i’m impressed how music and lyric go along together fairly well.

tonight i’ll do music part for “me in the dark” if nothing wrong. i enjoy making music with only – clean sound guitar more and more. in the past, i only thought that distorted noise effect – guitar can blow my head, but now after try making clean sound music, i think this is good too. hopefully i can make all songs that p’koon likes and o.k. to sing them!!!

first version from p’ koon is amazing. i like it na. he has low frequency voice so what i think at first is how to convert his melody to chords. i am slow of it but luckily i can! yes, i found that it starts with “C” and then the rest is not difficult. this is the first song i can control.

hey!!! i like it. p’koon created a wonderful song again. i skip cuba,bollywood to take care of this song because i like the meaning of the song. maybe it more touchable for me. i like love song so this is a cool love song. this song was done after i felt better for my cold-fever. after this blog, i will go on the song “welcome home” which i wrote melody… hoorey!
